You don't have to find all that amount on your own, by pooling donations together we may be able to buy several bikes

| The route starts and finishes
in the Car Park of the BEACON PUB, Beacon Road, Loughborough The ride will not have marshals, however there will be a leader and a person at the back of the group. The route is about 16 km in length (10 miles) with an detour to extend the distance to 30 km for the energetic. Most of the distance is off-road and is fairly flat, following designated Charnwood Cycle Ways and the canal tow path, but it does go along-side main roads for part of the way. For the short distances where it is on the actual road, these are quiet side streets, except for the extention for the 30 km route along the Shepshed and Osgathorpe roads. The route is suitable for children who are competent cyclists, but they do need to be accompanied by an adult who will take responsibility for them. Riders should wear suitable safety equipment and their bikes need to be in roadworthy condition. It is hoped to provide drinks at the half way point and at the end of the ride.
